The direct effect (c鈥) refers to the effect of knowledge on practice after adjusting for attitude. The total effect (c) is the sum of the direct effect of knowledge on practice and the indirect effect (ab) of knowledge on practice via attitude. *\({\varvec{H}}\) denotes the hypothesis proposed in this study
